Ekstrands' unique glazing with concealed fastening and fully-glued glass creates an exclusive appearance and with a narrow arch profile of only 56mm, the wooden window is elegant.

Configure accessories
Ekstrands paints in all RAL and NCS colors. We recommend RAL as these colors are adapted for outdoor use. Windows can be made with different colours on the inside and outside. We also have a wide selection of lacquers on windows in solid oak or pine. Please note that colours can not be reproduced exactly on screen, please contact us to order samples or visit our showrooms.
Standard white
Our standard white is a warmer off white. Ekstrands can also supply neutral white or any chosen colour.

RAL 7047
Ekstrand's wooden windows are delivered as standard in standard white. Other standard colors are neutral white, RAL 7047 and RAL 7016, but we can also deliver windows in any color.

Standard double glazing
Tradition104 Wood has a 2-glass pane with a U-value of 1.2W/(m²K), it is considered energy efficient and in many cases it's sufficient. Choosing the right U-value and glass is complex. A 2-glass pane, for example, has better daylight transmission and solar energy transmittance (G-value) compared with a standard 3-glass pane. What to choose depends on how well insulated the house is and what you prioritize, energy savings, comfort, sun protection, etc.
Standard triple glazing
Classic104 Wood has a 3-glass pane with a U-value of 1.1W/(m²K). It provides slightly better thermal insulation and edge zone temperature, but poorer daylight transmission and solar energy transmittance (G-value). What to choose depends on your needs, contact us and we will tell you more.
Old style without dripnose
You can opt out of the drip nose and then get a wooden window in the old style without any external aluminum details. With the Swedish window's narrow frame profile and traditional window hooks, the window becomes classic and exclusive. Can be delivered with double or triple glass pane.
The flexibility is great and all windows are manufactured in millimeter sizes according to your wishes. This window system has the following different opening variations.

Fixed window
Fixed windows are suitable when there's no need to open the windows. They can be delivered in considerably larger measurements than openable windows. A fixed window consists only of a frame and allows more natural light than opening windows. Keep in mind that the fixed and opening windows have different optics. This causes the alignment of the glass, and in some cases glazing bars or astragals, to differ. Fixed windows can also be delivered as gable windows in circular angles.
1-sash side-hung window
1-sash traditional outwards opening side-hung window available with a variety of fitting types. Espagnolettes (handles) are more modern and practical. Fasteners are classic simple fittings that suit the style of old houses. The window can be delivered with a so-called cleaning gap, allowing the sash to be pushed sideways so there is access to clean the outside of the glass from the inside.

3-sash side-hung window
Our wooden windows Classic104 are also available as 3-sash. Available with a variety of fitting types. Espagnolettes (handles) are more modern and practical. The window can be delivered with a so-called cleaning gap, allowing the sash to be pushed sideways so there is access to clean the outside of the glass from the inside. TopSwing tilt and turn window
TopSwing is a window where the sash can be turned around so cleaning can be performed from the inside. Unlike many other similar windows our TopSwing windows have concealed fittings that aren't visible from the outside. Our TopSwing window fittings have, depending on size, a number of ventilation modes that the sash can be locked in.
1-sash balcony door
Outwards opening balcony doors are built according to our customers requests. Standard balcony doors are delivered fully glazed. It’s becoming more common with this type of balcony doors since they let in more light. Insulated fillings, glazing bars and astragals in several variations are available options. Balcony doors are available in a wide range of width and height dimensions. Up to M25 height is standard. Different handles with locks and safety espagnolette WK2 are optional additions as well.
2-sash double balcony door
Outwards opening double balcony doors are available in most width and height measurements and are customized according to our customers requirements. The standard double balcony door is fully glazed. As an option you can get insulated fillings, with or without a panel, various glazing bar and astragal options.

There are several different hinges to choose from at Ekstrands.
Silver-colored hinges
Silver-colored hinges are standard, but you can also choose black or white.
White Hinges
If you want hinges that blend in with white windows, you can choose white hinges instead of silver ones.
Black hinges
Black hinges can either create a clear contrast against lighter materials or blend in discreetly with windows with dark colors where the fittings are perceived as a natural part of the whole.
Cleaning gap
The rotation takes place a bit into the window and you get a small opening on the side of the window which makes it easy to clean the outside of the window. At the same time, the hinges are not visible from the outside and you get a stylish exterior on the window.

Ornamented hinges that fit well with classic windows
Ekstrands can offer several different astragal options. Our wooden astragals are made of knot-free wood and are mounted on the window upon delivery. For 2-color painting, we recommend Vienna astragals as this allows the right color of the bar from the inside. See below which sash options are available for this window.
SP: Removable astragals
SP is a standard wooden astragal mounted on the outside with genuine carpenter's crosses. The astragal is removable and is locked with smart hook fittings. Delivered mounted on the window.
WSP: Vienna astragals
Vienna astragals is an exclusive wooden astragal where the astragal is glued on both sides of the glass with a thin aluminum profile between the glasses. For 2-color painted windows, this is the best option. Available straight & profiled. Works best with 2-glass panes.
RSP: Ramspröjs
Astragals on a frame is an exclusive astragal that is hinged to the window frame. Used mainly on curved windows and on windows with many sashes. Best suited for inward opening windows.
ASP: Aluminium astragals
Aluminum astragals between the glasses are mainly used on aluminum-clad windows and PVC. Delivered as standard in 26mm width but available in several designs and colours. Works best with 2-glass panes.
GDP: Glass dividing bar
Ekstrand's glass dividing bars are genuine. We divide the glass pane, which gives a wooden post on both inside and outside. Delivered in 58mm or 78mm width on the Europa window and 68mm or 92mm on EC/90 wood.
Astragals and the design of astragals change the character of a property. It is important that the size and number of astragals on each window are adjusted so that it looks good. Ekstrands manufactures all types of astragals, horizontal, vertical and diagonal crosses. We have several different types of astragals in our range to be able to adapt all window systems to each customer's specific wishes. If there is uncertainty about the design, we will produce a drawing of the window with different astragals.

Clear glass
Clear glass is standard on most of our products if nothing else is specified.
Etched / Decormat
Frosted glass for reduced visibility. It is called etched on doors and Decormat on windows.
Cotswold / Kura
This glass is called Cotswold for doors and Kura for windows. A classic decorative glass with vertical patterns that was very popular in the 50s and 60s.
173:an / Atlantic
It's called the 173 for doors and Atlantic for windows. A classic hammered decorative glass.
Niagara
Decorative glass Niagara is the same name for doors and windows. It is glass with a vertical pattern that resembles a waterfall.
Kleinhamrat
Decorative glass, Kleinhamrat, for doors, a hammered glass with a finer pattern than the 173 / Atlantic.
Chinchilla
Chinchilla glass is a patterned glass that diffuses light softly and provides privacy. It is often used in doors where both light and privacy are desired.
Unknown Item
A striped decorative glass with clear glass. Lined glass clear is called on doors and Flutes for windows.
It is possible to choose between a straight or profiled glazing bead on the inside.

Drip nose on the outside is standard and part of our constructive wood protection. The lower part of the window frame must be protected so that water does not remain on the wood. White lacquered aluminum is standard on white windows. For oak, lacquered and special colours, silver aluminum is standard, you can also order gold, olive, dark brown or anthracite for these. On our wooden windows, the drip nose can be removed, this is part of what we call "old style" for a real wooden window.

Ekstrands offers several different constructions, for example constructions tested at an accredited institute for fire, sound, and security performance.
Energy effective glass
The U-value changes with which glass construction is used. In each product group there are several different alternatives from a U-value of 1.3W/(m²K) to below 0.8W/(m²K).
Solar protective glass
Solar protective glass is used when you want to prevent radiant heat. We offer a number of different options.
Safety glass
Safety glass is laminated or tempered glass. Tempered windows are used for personal safety and laminated windows are available in a number of different classes for burglary protection. EI30 fire rated window
EC/90 can also be delivered with CE-certified fire class EI30. The window can be delivered as 1-sash and 2-sash side-hung inwards opening with dreh-kip function, as a balcony door and double balcony door, as well as in a fixed version. The U-value of EC/90 EI30 is U=1.2W/(m²K)
Sound reducing glass
Trains, car traffic, city buses or other disturbances can be reduced with the right choice of glass combination. Reductions of 36, 37 or 40dB can be achieved with sound reducing glass. Ekstrands also has a tested sound reducing window, EC/90 SR46.

Window sill 16 mm
This window sill is 16mm thick and available with straight or rounded corners. Upon request, we can also produce specially adapted window sills.
Window sill 30 mm
This window sill is 30 mm thick and available with straight or rounded corners. Upon request, we can also produce specially adapted window sills.
Window sill profiled
This profiled window sill is 30mm thick and available with straight or rounded corners. Upon request, we can also produce specially adapted window sills.
Oak window sill
This window sill is 30mm thick and is available with straight or rounded corners. Upon request, we can also produce specially adapted window sills.
Ventilation
Window ventilation is a complement to the house's ventilation and air supply. We offer Biobe 30 which is delivered loose for assembly on site. An external grille is also mounted on fixed windows, on openable windows the air intake is open between the frame and sash, not visible from the outside.
Insect screen
An insect screen that is very practical and takes up minimal space when not in use. The color of the profile is white RAL 9010. On balcony doors, the insect screen is pushed sideways. Choose between 4 different nets: Plastic fiberglass is standard (gray net), Clearview (black net), Pollen reducing (black net), Blackout (white fabric)
Blinds
Is white as standard and is available in two models, standard or design. Also available in silver or black.
Design blinds
The design blind is white as standard.
Pleated blinds
Pleated blinds with string lock on the left or right side. Available in several different fabric materials and colours, even as blackout. Also available as a handle model.
Child safety locks
