Ekstrands' inward-opening wooden windows can also be manufactured as sound-reducing windows SR46, sound-reducing 46dB. The window is CE-marked, tested and supplied with a 51dB glass, the U-value of this sound window is U=1.3W/(m²K). Sound windows are used in urban environments and in places where the noise level is high.

The window can be supplied as 1-air and 2-air side-hung inward-opening with a tilt-turn function, as a French door and a double French door, as well as in a fixed version.

A high-performance window with double or triple sealing strips, adapted for both private villas and apartment buildings where extra high demands are placed on the climate shell. The window can be integrated into the wall with over-insulation of the frame, this increases the thermal insulation capacity and provides optically narrow profiles. The smart German fitting technology means that the sash can be folded into a ventilation position without having to move flower pots. The arch is 3D adjustable, has break points on all four sides and built-in microventilation. A wide range of options means that the window can be adapted for both classic and modern architecture.

Inward-opening wooden windows are windows for both villas, apartment buildings, renovations and new construction. Ekstrands paints in all RAL and NCS colors. We recommend RAL as these colors are adapted for outdoor use. Windows can be made with different colours on the inside and outside. We also have a wide selection of lacquers on windows in solid oak or pine. Please note that colours can not be reproduced exactly on screen, please contact us to order samples or visit our showrooms.

Standard white
Our standard white is a warmer off white. Ekstrands can also supply neutral white or any chosen colour.

RAL 7047
Ekstrand's wooden windows are delivered as standard in standard white. Other standard colors are neutral white, RAL 7047 and RAL 7016, but we can also deliver windows in any color.

System 92 standard
An inward-opening wooden window with triple sealing strips and U-value 0.80 W/(m²K). A window system with passive performance. Frame depth 92 mm. Our inwards-opening wooden windows have a drip strip at the bottom of the sash as standard and a drain rail at the bottom of the frame.

The flexibility is great and all windows are manufactured in millimeter sizes according to your wishes. This window system has the following different opening variations.

Fixed window
Fixed windows are suitable where there isn't a need to open the window. They can be delivered in considerably larger dimensions than opening windows. A fixed window consists only of a frame and allows more natural light to come in than through opening windows. Keep in mind that the fixed and opening windows have different optics. This makes the alignment of the glass, and in some cases astragals and glass dividing bars, differ. Fixed windows can also be delivered as gable windows in curved angles. Note that fixed windows are not mounted with screws, but with mounting brackets. These are not included in the delivery.
Side-hung inwards opening window 1-sash dreh-kip
An inwards opening side-hung window with a ventilation function and micro-ventilation in the fitting. The construction makes it possible to manufacture the window in larger measurements than what is normally possible with opening windows. Can be delivered as 2-, 3- and 4-sash windows.

Inwards opening window bottom-hung kip
Bottom-hung and inwards opening windows for spaces or sizes where the side-hung tilt and turn windows won’t fit. For example, basement windows or windows in small rectangular shapes. The ventilation function is a smart solution that disconnects so that the sash can be opened inwards when cleaning.
Inwards opening balcony door dreh-kip
Inwards opening balcony door with ventilation function and micro-ventilation in the fittings. As standard it’s delivered completly glazed. It’s becoming more common with this type of balcony doors because they let in more light. There are optional insulated fillings and astragals in several variations. Balcony doors are supplied in most widths and heights. Different handles with locks and safety espagnolette WK2 are available options.

Clear glass
Clear glass is standard on most of our products if nothing else is specified.
Etched / Decormat
Frosted glass for reduced visibility. It is called etched on doors and Decormat on windows.
Cotswold / Kura
This glass is called Cotswold for doors and Kura for windows. A classic decorative glass with vertical patterns that was very popular in the 50s and 60s.
173:an / Atlantic
It's called the 173 for doors and Atlantic for windows. A classic hammered decorative glass.
Niagara
Decorative glass Niagara is the same name for doors and windows. It is glass with a vertical pattern that resembles a waterfall.
Kleinhamrat
Decorative glass, Kleinhamrat, for doors, a hammered glass with a finer pattern than the 173 / Atlantic.
Chinchilla
Chinchilla glass is a patterned glass that diffuses light softly and provides privacy. It is often used in doors where both light and privacy are desired.
Unknown Item
A striped decorative glass with clear glass. Lined glass clear is called on doors and Flutes for windows.

Drip nose on the outside is standard and part of our constructive wood protection. The lower part of the window frame must be protected so that water does not remain on the wood. White lacquered aluminum is standard on white windows. For oak, lacquered and special colours, silver aluminum is standard, you can also order gold, olive, dark brown or anthracite for these. On our wooden windows, the drip nose can be removed, this is part of what we call "old style" for a real wooden window.

Ekstrands offers several different constructions, for example constructions tested at an accredited institute for fire, sound, and security performance.

Energy effective glass
The U-value changes with which glass construction is used. In each product group there are several different alternatives from a U-value of 1.3W/(m²K) to below 0.8W/(m²K).
Solar protective glass
Solar protective glass is used when you want to prevent radiant heat. We offer a number of different options.
Safety glass
Safety glass is laminated or tempered glass. Tempered windows are used for personal safety and laminated windows are available in a number of different classes for burglary protection. EI30 fire rated window
EC/90 can also be delivered with CE-certified fire class EI30. The window can be delivered as 1-sash and 2-sash side-hung inwards opening with dreh-kip function, as a balcony door and double balcony door, as well as in a fixed version. The U-value of EC/90 EI30 is U=1.2W/(m²K)
Sound reducing glass
Trains, car traffic, city buses or other disturbances can be reduced with the right choice of glass combination. Reductions of 36, 37 or 40dB can be achieved with sound reducing glass. Ekstrands also has a tested sound reducing window, EC/90 SR46.

There are several different options to choose from at Ekstrands, here we show some of the most common.

Window sill 16 mm
This window sill is 16mm thick and available with straight or rounded corners. Upon request, we can also produce specially adapted window sills.
Window sill 30 mm
This window sill is 30 mm thick and available with straight or rounded corners. Upon request, we can also produce specially adapted window sills.
Window sill profiled
This profiled window sill is 30mm thick and available with straight or rounded corners. Upon request, we can also produce specially adapted window sills.
Oak window sill
This window sill is 30mm thick and is available with straight or rounded corners. Upon request, we can also produce specially adapted window sills.
Ventilation
Window ventilation is a complement to the house's ventilation and air supply. We offer Biobe 30 which is delivered loose for assembly on site. An external grille is also mounted on fixed windows, on openable windows the air intake is open between the frame and sash, not visible from the outside.
Insect screen
An insect screen that is very practical and takes up minimal space when not in use. The color of the profile is white RAL 9010. On balcony doors, the insect screen is pushed sideways. Choose between 4 different nets: Plastic fiberglass is standard (gray net), Clearview (black net), Pollen reducing (black net), Blackout (white fabric)
Blinds
Is white as standard and is available in two models, standard or design. Also available in silver or black.
Design blinds
The design blind is white as standard.
Pleated blinds
Pleated blinds with string lock on the left or right side. Available in several different fabric materials and colours, even as blackout. Also available as a handle model.
Child safety locks
