Wooden windows with wooden profiles "kultur" are a classic wooden window without aluminum details. A unique window from an environmental and performance perspective that fits well with classic architecture.
A high-performance window with double or triple sealing strips, adapted for both private villas and apartment buildings where extra high demands are placed on the climate shell. The window can be integrated into the wall with over-insulation of the frame, this increases the thermal insulation capacity and provides optically narrow profiles. The smart German fitting technology means that the sash can be folded into a ventilation position without having to move flower pots. The sash is 3D adjustable, has break points on all four sides and built-in microventilation. A wide range of options means that the window can be adapted for both classic and modern architecture.

Our collaboration with leading hardware manufacturers, a wide range of options and great dimensional flexibility give the architect complete freedom to create a window for your specific purpose.

This window sill is 16mm thick and available with straight or rounded corners. Upon request, we can also produce specially adapted window sills.

You can choose between straight or profiled glass strip on the inside. As standard, this window is equipped with profiled glass strip.
Color selection on spacers between glass is an important detail on windows that many do not think about. White is standard on white windows and gray on all others. The following colors can be chosen at no extra cost: White 9016, gray 7035, gray 7040, brown 8004, brown 8016, black 9004.
Drip nose on the outside is standard and part of our constructive wood protection. The lower part of the window frame must be protected so that water does not remain on the wood. White lacquered aluminum is standard on white windows. For oak, lacquered and special colours, silver aluminum is standard, you can also order gold, olive, dark brown or anthracite for these. On our wooden windows, the drip nose can be removed, this is part of what we call "old style" for a real wooden window.
An insect screen that is very practical and takes up minimal space when not in use. The color of the profile is white RAL 9010. On balcony doors, the insect screen is pushed sideways. Choose between 4 different nets: Plastic fiberglass is standard (gray net), Clearview (black net), Pollen reducing (black net), Blackout (white fabric)
Ventilation fittings 1236 is available in chrome and brass. Available for inwards opening windows.

Low threshold for inward opening door. Note that dreh-kip function is not possible when selecting this threshold variant. The threshold also does not have a natural drainage, in extremely exposed situations where the door risks rain or larger amounts of water, standard construction should be considered. Threshold has a broken cold bridge.
It's called the 173 for doors and Atlantic for windows. A classic hammered decorative glass.
This glass is called Cotswold for doors and Kura for windows. A classic decorative glass with vertical patterns that was very popular in the 50s and 60s.
Frosted glass for reduced visibility. It is called etched on doors and Decormat on windows.
A striped decorative glass with clear glass. Lined glass clear is called on doors and Flutes for windows.
Decorative glass Niagara is the same name for doors and windows. It is glass with a vertical pattern that resembles a waterfall.
Clear glass is standard on most of our products if nothing else is specified.
Fixed windows are suitable where there isn't a need to open the window. They can be delivered in considerably larger dimensions than opening windows. A fixed window consists only of a frame and allows more natural light to come in than through opening windows. Keep in mind that the fixed and opening windows have different optics. This makes the alignment of the glass, and in some cases astragals and glass dividing bars, differ. Fixed windows can also be delivered as gable windows in curved angles. Note that fixed windows are not mounted with screws, but with mounting brackets. These are not included in the delivery.

Bottom-hung and inwards opening windows for spaces or sizes where the side-hung tilt and turn windows won’t fit. For example, basement windows or windows in small rectangular shapes. The ventilation function is a smart solution that disconnects so that the sash can be opened inwards when cleaning.
Inwards opening balcony door with ventilation function and micro-ventilation in the fittings. As standard it’s delivered completly glazed. It’s becoming more common with this type of balcony doors because they let in more light. There are optional insulated fillings and astragals in several variations. Balcony doors are supplied in most widths and heights. Different handles with locks and safety espagnolette WK2 are available options.

Fixed semi-circular windows can be produced in most dimensions. Astragals, architraves and embrasures are additional options for semi-circular windows. Fixed semi-circular windows can’t be mounted with screws, they require mounting brackets.
The smart Europa68 window, an inwards opening bottom-hung window (tilt) with ventilation function. The construction makes it possible to manufacture windows in larger sizes than normally possible with opening windows.
Fixed circular windows, from a diameter of 600 mm up to 1500 mm. From 1000mm in diameter the window can be supplied with aluminium cladding on the outside. Architraves and embrasures to the circular window are additional options that make the installation easy and beautiful. A fixed circular window can’t be mounted with screws, it requires mounting brackets.
Circular centre pivot windows, from a diameter of 700 mm to 1500 mm. Architraves and embrasures for the circular window are additional options that make installation easy and beautiful.
Inwards opening windows with a semi-circular top, or arched windows, are manufactured in most dimensions and available with 1-, 2- or 3-sashes. Since our semi-circular windows are based on our inwards opening Europa68 window technology they can be supplied with our smart ventilation fittings. The main picture shows a side-hung inwards opening window with a tilt & turn function in the lower part. The top sash is bottom-hung and can be tilted in for ventilation or cleaning.

Our standard white is a warmer off white. Ekstrands can also supply neutral white or any chosen colour.

Astragals on a frame is an exclusive astragal that is hinged to the window frame. Used mainly on curved windows and on windows with many sashes. Best suited for inward opening windows.
Ekstrand's glass dividing bars are genuine. We divide the glass pane, which gives a wooden post on both inside and outside. Delivered in 58mm or 78mm width on the Europa window and 68mm or 92mm on EC/90 wood.
