Villa Solrød

The property is architect-designed and is located in Solröd strand just south of Copenhagen.

The client's challenge was to replace the entrance hall and side door in a design that would match the existing garage door. Ekstrand's newly manufactured oak exterior doors are custom-made with dense horizontal ribs, oil 708 which is lightly pigmented. The detail that completes the project is the fittings. The door leaf has pull handles and cylinder accessories from FSB in bronze, the lock post and strike plate have been specially treated so that they match the other fittings in terms of color.
