Villa Ranarp

Villa Ranarp was designed by M-arkitetkur and is located on the Bjäre peninsula in Skåne. The house is an example of modern Swedish architecture where indoor and outdoor environments merge through large glass areas and sliding doors. Generous light creates a seamless transition between the indoor social areas and the private patios. The house is designed for a family of two adults and two children, and is divided into three temperature zones. This division allows for heating according to needs – with higher temperatures in the social areas and cooler in the more private bedroom area. The sliding partitions in Villa Ranarp are solid oak wooden partitions from Ekstrands. The 1710 olive surface treatment provides an exclusive but natural contrast to the raw wooden facades.
