Energy effective glass
The U-value changes with which glass construction is used. In each product group there are several different alternatives from a U-value of 1.3W/(m²K) to below 0.8W/(m²K).

Sliding window Patio Nova with slim profile
Sliding doors with high design. Patio-Nova is a sliding window with slim arch profiles and glass in the fixed part that goes all the way down to the floor. Patio-Nova creates a feeling of space out there and inside becomes one.
The sliding door slides on the outside and with its construction and unbroken sealing strip has a very good air tightness. The sliding door also has locking points on both sides, which provides increased burglary protection, the pistons are designed so that they are guided into the end plate, which makes closing easier and minimizes incorrect operation.
Our sliding patios can be combined with fixed windows that align in top and bottom.

Options
There are several different options to choose from at Ekstrands, here we show some of the most common.
Solar protective glass
Solar protective glass is used when you want to prevent radiant heat. We offer a number of different options.
Safety glass
Safety glass is laminated or tempered glass. Tempered windows are used for personal safety and laminated windows are available in a number of different classes for burglary protection.

Sound reducing glass
Trains, car traffic, city buses or other disturbances can be reduced with the right choice of glass combination. Reductions of 36, 37 or 40dB can be achieved with sound reducing glass. Ekstrands also has a tested sound reducing window, EC/90 SR46.

Patio Nova can be delivered as 2-sash with a fixed sash and right or left-hung sliding part
3-sash fixed/slide/fixed
Patio Nova can be delivered as a 3-air with two fixed air and a sliding part in the middle

Standard profile
Sliding windows Patio Nova Wood has a standard drop strip at the bottom of the frame and a drain rail at the bottom of the frame. The details consist of lacquered aluminum and have the function of diverting water from the construction and protecting the most exposed parts of the window. The details can be delivered in white RAL 9010, silver or brown.
Without drip nose
You can opt out of the drip nose on the sash and get a cleaner design. The lower edge of the sash is made entirely of wood but still has a sufficient slope so that water will never be left standing.
Standard white & Neutral white
Our standard white is slightly broken. Ekstrands can also supply neutral white or any color.
Standard colors
Ekstrands' wooden windows are delivered as standard in standard white. Other standard colors are neutral white, RAL 7047 and RAL 7016, but we can also deliver windows in any colour.
Optional colors
Ekstrands can paint in all colors. We recommend RAL as these colors are adapted for outdoor use. Windows can be delivered with different colors on the inside / outside. We offer full warranties even on black windows.

Stained oak windows with a length/width of up to 2 meters can be delivered without finger joints.
Between 2-3 meters delivered with 2 finger joint. Over 3 meters delivered with 3 finger joints.

SP: Removable astragals
SP is a standard wooden astragal mounted on the outside with genuine carpenter's crosses. The astragal is removable and is locked with smart hook fittings. Delivered mounted on the window.
WSP: Vienna astragals
Vienna astragals is an exclusive wooden astragal where the astragal is glued on both sides of the glass with a thin aluminum profile between the glasses. For 2-color painted windows, this is the best option. Available straight & profiled. Works best with 2-glass panes.
RSP: Ramspröjs
Astragals on a frame is an exclusive astragal that is hinged to the window frame. Used mainly on curved windows and on windows with many sashes. Best suited for inward opening windows.
GDP: Glass dividing bar
Ekstrand's glass dividing bars are genuine. We divide the glass pane, which gives a wooden post on both inside and outside. Delivered in 58mm or 78mm width on the Europa window and 68mm or 92mm on EC/90 wood.
