The I-frame is a further development of Ekstrand's popular and proven PS frame. Its visible profile is identical to the PS frame. The I-frame is developed to be an integral part of the wall. It is completely made of wood and has hidden, adjustable hinges of high quality. The I-frame is an option that is available for any interior door from Ekstrands' range.
Adaptation I-frame
I-frame has different frame outer dimensions. The outer dimensions of the I-frame are 936x2113 for standard M9x21 (825x2040 mm) door leaves. It is intended for concealed mounting in 118 mm wall consisting of 70 mm rule and surface layer of plasterboard on OSB board. The frame can be adapted to other wall constructions and / or wall thicknesses. Delivered as standard with comfort-enhancing and sound-absorbing sealing strip.
