Our standard white is a warmer off white. Ekstrands can also supply neutral white or any chosen colour.

Black RAL 9005 is one of our standard colors. We are unique in providing full warranties even on black and dark colors. 10* year painting warranty (*5 years for coastal installation) and 15 years form stability.

We have a number of selected colors that are developed for optimal light and weather resistance, these are classic comfortable colors that do extremely well on exterior doors. Feel free to visit our exhibitions to see the colors on doors in real life.

Ekstrands can paint in all colors. We recommend RAL as these colors are adapted for outdoor use. Doors can be delivered with different colors on the inside / outside. We offer full warranties even on black exterior doors.

Oak exterior doors can be supplied with pigmented oil 429, which is slightly whiter than the standard oil.

Exterior doors in oak panel can also be supplied with pigmented oil 425 which is slightly darker.

Exterior doors in oak can also be supplied with pigmented oil 428, which resembles cedar wood

Oak from our own latitudes. We have thermo-treated solid oak so that the wood has a burnt, darker color. Thus, the wood has also gains a fantastic weather resistance. Hardwood is not discolored by spores or fungi in the same way as untreated oak. Even if you are careful and maintain oak, it takes an enormous amount of work so that the wood does not discolour. Hardwood requires less maintenance, even less than the rainforest wood teak which everyone knows is optimally weather resistant. The brown color lightens slightly over the years if you do not maintain it with a penetrating / wetting oil. Our thermo-treated oak is treated with a pigmented oil to maintain the dark color. Heat-treated wood is also used for e.g. terrace floor instead of pressure impregnated wood.
