Värmdö 390 - an exterior door with oak slats and an integrated window.

The door is painted and can be delivered with slats in solid oak, natural oiled or heat-treated black. The contrast between the glass and the solid oak slats create an exclusive feeling. The painted door leaf suits best in black, but can be delivered in any colour if you want the slats to be more highlighted.

To be able to easily clean the glass opening behind the slats, we have integrated an inward-facing window in the construction. The window has a built-in ventilation function, which means that the door can be closed and locked, but you can still ventilate.

Choose between several different handles on both the front door and the window. By e.g. choose a black handle for a black-painted door and the pressure will blend in nicely on the inside. The window handle can also be delivered with a cover plate.

Solid oak oiled
Interior doors in oak are delivered as standard oiled, these doors require continuous maintenance.
Oak pigmented oil 429
Oak exterior doors can be supplied with pigmented oil 429, which is slightly whiter than the standard oil.
Oak pigmented oil 425
Exterior doors in oak panel can also be supplied with pigmented oil 425 which is slightly darker.
Oak pigmented oil 428
Exterior doors in oak can also be supplied with pigmented oil 428, which resembles cedar wood
Thermo-treated oak black brown oiled
Oak from our own latitudes. We have thermo-treated solid oak so that the wood has a burnt, darker color. Thus, the wood has also gains a fantastic weather resistance. Hardwood is not discolored by spores or fungi in the same way as untreated oak. Even if you are careful and maintain oak, it takes an enormous amount of work so that the wood does not discolour. Hardwood requires less maintenance, even less than the rainforest wood teak which everyone knows is optimally weather resistant. The brown color lightens slightly over the years if you do not maintain it with a penetrating / wetting oil. Our thermo-treated oak is treated with a pigmented oil to maintain the dark color. Heat-treated wood is also used for e.g. terrace floor instead of pressure impregnated wood.
Standard white
Our standard white is a warmer off white. Ekstrands can also supply neutral white or any chosen colour.
Black RAL 9005
Black RAL 9005 is one of our standard colors. We are unique in providing full warranties even on black and dark colors. 10* year painting warranty (*5 years for coastal installation) and 15 years form stability.

Ekstrands offers a wide range of different locking systems, electronic controls, cylinders and fittings.

Pull handle and customisation
Ekstrands has a wide range of pull handles. When selecting a pull handle, you don't have a handle function, which means that you need a key-controlled or electrically controlled opening. For example, code lock or fingerprint reading. We recommend choosing a door closer when using pull handles.
Snap lock for pull handles
When choosing a pull handle, you usually need a so-called snap lock for the door to be locket when closed. These are combined with a cylinder and cylinder accessories, usually an oval cylinder with a knob on the inside. Snap lock 230 has a smart set-up button on the edge, snap lock 231 must be set up with a key (for public spaces)
Handle function with door knob
When choosing a pull handle, you usually need a so-called snap lock for the door to be closed and locked. If you want to keep the handle function and a regular lock, you can choose to set a knob that you can turn to get the handle function. Then the pull handle works more like a decor.
Smart lock for wall installation
With this wall reader you can control a motor lock or electric strike plate so that you can open the door wirelessly or via Bluetooth with your mobile phone, with a finger scan or PIN code. The smart lock is installed on the wall. The wall reader is a good digital solution to combine with both pull handles and traditional handles.

Hidden smart lock
Modern hybrid lock with technology so smart that it is invisible. All technology is hidden in the lockbox. You can keep the fittings and handles that fit your door. (Does not work with FSB handles)

Standard fitting set Comfort - Secure
Lock Dorma 9192 is optional and a so-called "comfort - secure" lock. It is a safety lock with a hook bolt that is equipped with a round cylinder inside and out, as well as an extra knob on the inside. With a small button on the locking post, you change the function of the lock, when you are away, the knob does not work on the inside, which makes it difficult for someone who has broken in, when you are at home you use the knob. Standard fitting package is Dorma, available in several materials and colors. Handle Dorma 7291 is included in the standard package.
HOPPE Comfort-Secure

FSB with Comfort - Secure
FSB fitting sets are optional, available in several different materials and colours. All FSB handles are equipped with a double return spring, see separate tab for handle assortment.
Cylinder both sides
Round cylinder or oval cylinder both sides of the door. A round cylinder has higher safety compared to an oval. If you have a cylinder inside, you have also achieved internal safety, what is important to keep in mind are other escape routes for this alternative. Ekstrands has a wide range of cylinders and can also deliver cylinders in systems, keys ordered by key number, additions, etc.
Cylinder with accessories
Surface treatment equal to door handle can be ordered, these are not included in the door price. Both 701 and 712 cylinders fit standard locks, the 701 has an internal knob and the 712 key on both sides. Only 712-cylinder with "home-comfort / away-safe" accessory fits lock box 9192. Brass, matt chrome and stainless steel are standard. Views of the various cylinders can be downloaded, these are good help during assembly.

Hidden hinges
Give the door a stylish and modern look with hidden hinges. The hinge can handle high weights and is 3D adjustable.
Pivot construction
A pivot-hinged front door has a unique construction that differs compared to a traditional hinged door, the rotation takes place a bit into the door leaf
Hinges black
The door can be equipped with black lacquered hinges.
Hinges black or white
The door can be equipped with black or white lacquered hinges.
Hinges stainless steel
As standard, our doors are supplied with stainless steel hinges.

Clear glass
Clear glass is standard on most of our products if nothing else is specified.
Etched / Decormat
Frosted glass for reduced visibility. It is called etched on doors and Decormat on windows.
Cotswold / Kura
This glass is called Cotswold for doors and Kura for windows. A classic decorative glass with vertical patterns that was very popular in the 50s and 60s.
173:an / Atlantic
It's called the 173 for doors and Atlantic for windows. A classic hammered decorative glass.
Niagara
Decorative glass Niagara is the same name for doors and windows. It is glass with a vertical pattern that resembles a waterfall.
Kleinhamrat
Decorative glass, Kleinhamrat, for doors, a hammered glass with a finer pattern than the 173 / Atlantic.
Chinchilla
Chinchilla glass is a patterned glass that diffuses light softly and provides privacy. It is often used in doors where both light and privacy are desired.
Unknown Item
A striped decorative glass with clear glass. Lined glass clear is called on doors and Flutes for windows.
Smoked glass
Smoked glass for doors. The combination of transparency and discretion makes smoked glass a popular choice in both private and public environments.

Side lights
Let in light and create stylish entrances with side lights.
Mirror side light
SL Spegel is a modern side light with stepped glass. On the outside, the glass overlaps the frame on both the side light and the front door, which creates a modern and minimalist look. The glass on the side light can be supplied with mirror glass. With mirror glass you can look out but not in. The glass still lets in light and the outside reflects its surroundings. Door and side lights are delivered assembled as one unit.
Door frame with integrated side light
Entrance area where the side light is integrated into the door frame. The visible frame between the side light and the door leaf is reinforced and only 75 mm wide. Together with the narrow profiles of the side light, the entrance area has an elegant and slim look.
The same integrated design is also available as a transom light.
Transoms
Let in light and create stylish entrances with transoms.

Ekstrands offers several different constructions, for example constructions tested at an accredited institute for fire, sound, and security performance.

Ceiling-high frame with fixed door leaf at the top
We can supply ceiling-high exterior doors where the upper part of the door leaf is fixed in the frame. The advantage is that the design is maintained but the door leaf is a little lighter.
RC3 exterior door
Ekstrands can also supply RC3 security-classed exterior doors, tested according to the latest EN standard. RC3 means Resistance Class 3 and is tested according to EN 1627. Ekstrands is one of few manufacturers that offer wooden security doors. Thanks to our unique design, we are the only one to offer RC3-classified exterior doors in millimeter-adapted sizes and in large dimensions up to M13x28. Our classification applies to both painted doors and solid oak.
Passiv 91 low energy
Exterior door construction with double sealing strips. The majority of Ekstrand's door models are available in the Passive91 version with a U-value from 0.49 W/(m²K).
Sound- & fire rated doors
Ekstrands offers several different constructions that are tested at an accredited institute with regard to fire and sound. Good thermal insulation capacity (tight from U=0.71W/(m2K)) and the possibility of large dimensions up to M25 (in some cases M30) are unique features.

Double doors
All Ekstrands door models are available as double doors. We can manufacture double doors in special dimensions and large sizes up to M31 in height (max M25 width) or M29 in width (max M25 height). If you buy a double exterior door from Ekstrands, you get performance and comfort beyond the ordinary. Contact us for more information.

Special dimensions
Our exterior doors can be manufactured in heights up to an impressive 3.1 meters and widths up to 1.6 meters, enabling unique, architecturally consistent entrance solutions with strong character and high functionality.

Threshold Durabel graphite
Threshold Durable is standard unless otherwise stated. It is durable and 100% weather resistant, it therefore requires no maintenance. Threshold Durabel is also adapted to accessibility requirements according to current building regulations. The threshold has a matt graphite color and is also a standard threshold without additional cost at Ekstrands. Indicate if you want a threshold Durable graphite when ordering.

Threshold in oak
The oak threshold is only available for outward-opening doors. It is primed with oil and protected by an aluminum wear strip.

Hidden door closer
We recommend choosing a door closer when using pull handles. There are several different types of door closers, the most popular one is Ekstrand's hidden door closer.
Kickplates
Stainless steel kickplates are available in 100 and 200 mm, but also special dimensions and other colors and materials. For example, brass, copper, black or white lacquered, etc. Contact us for more information or special requests.
Stainless steel decor
Protective decoration in stainless steel are available in 3 different variants and as a cover for glass strips G05 and G06. Stainless steel decor is mounted only on the outside. Custom decorations in various metals are available upon request.
Design both sides of exterior door
Our exterior doors are flush on the inside as standard. You can order the door with the same design inside as out, but also combine with a simpler design on the inside. You can, for example, choose an Ascot model with Falsterbo-design inside in the same pattern as outside. Contact us for more information about what is possible.
Text on glass
Clear text on sandblasted glass or vice versa. The possibilities for a unique door are endless. The number and size of the letters control the price.
Leaded glass
Leaded glass gives the door a time-typical and exclusive look. Ekstrands deliver customised lead glasses with different shapes and colors. We have a number of classic patterns to choose from, but we also customise lead glass according to drawings. Contact us for more information.
Multicolor
2-color painting means white inside and optional colour outside. Multicolour is our own unique system that makes multicolour painting possible. Ekstrands offers multicolour painting on most of our doors. We recommend choosing RAL colors as these are always more light-resistant.
Enclosures for the entrance
ASCOT is a classic framing of the entrance, adapted to both double and single doors. Ekstrands also manufacture customised frames both painted and in solid oak. We use advanced water-resistant materials for our coated surfaces.
