Warranty on front doors with dark colours
In southern locations, the sun can cause really high temperatures on surfaces, up to 70 degrees. A black door on a south side really gets toasty hot. You can hardly keep your palm on the surface when the sun is on a black front door. The high temperatures can then affect the paint layers negatively.

The reason is partly that we have a color that also works in black or dark colors and partly that we have a surface layer that is less affected than e.g. aluminum plate. One of the most important guarantees on doors and windows is the surface treatment. All materials move with temperature. The greater the temperature difference, the greater the expansion/shrinkage. A black lacquered front door has more movement than a white one, even with us, but not more than it stays within the standard. If you have a working wood protection and surface treatment, the paint will not crack and the risk of moisture and rot is reduced.
