Ekstrands new head office
The property was designed by Architect Johannes Igelström. The interior design was created by Ekstrands. The environment is exclusive but subdued, qualitative and natural material choices in earthy tones are used in all rooms. The property is located next to our factory and is surrounded by pine trees and heather, the feeling of nature and wood follows you all the way into our open office landscape.
The exhibition is Northern Europe's largest but above all most exciting door and window exhibition. It is open weekdays 08-17 and there is the possibility of booking an appointment on holidays. Here you will be inspired by traditional and innovative design, unique technical solutions and qualitative materials.
REUSED OAK WASTE
The wall covering around the entrance is recycled oak waste from our own factory which is installed in its raw version, treated with oil 429 natural light. The entrance door is a specially designed model in Oak Rustic with horizontal and vertical panels. It is treated with oil 429 natural light and equipped with automatic sensor opening and black details in the kick plate and pull handle.
RECYCLED BLACK OAK
When you enter, you are greeted by a 5.5m sloping ceiling height with asymmetrical lampshades, sand-colored fossilized limestone and a reception desk with recycled black oak from Wonderwall Studios. The asymmetrical pattern from the reception desk's black oak is repeated in the pattern of the wall panel that builds a background wall behind.

INTERIOR DOORS IN MATT VARNISHED WALNUT
The interior doors in the building are in Walnut plus M25 height, treated with our matt varnish 433. The walnut then becomes a little grayer and looks almost untreated. Most are without key plates except for the toilet doors and all have hidden hinges. The handles are Hoppes Dallas in mini rosette, color black F9714 and FSBs 1267 in color 0710 aluminum blasted matt dark bronze.
TERIOR DOORS WITH SHADOW GAP
Some interior doors have been installed with Ekstrands new shadow strip adapted for door installation. The shadow gap allows for easy filling and painting around the frame and creates an 8mm dark edge all around.
