Heidi holds a Bachelor of International Business Management from the European Business School, Regent´s College London. Ekstrand's main factory with central warehouse and office is located in Osby, Skåne. Production also takes place to some extent abroad in production facilities that Ekstrands founded and helped build.

The company has had a good equity ratio and AAA rating for many years, which gives customers great security when investing in windows, exterior or interior doors.
