Exterior door Oak Panel

Ekstrands launches exterior doors in Ek Panel.

Wood is the most natural material we can think of. It is fantastic. Each piece of wood is different and unique. The wood's properties mean that it shrinks when dry and swells when wet. Properly used in properly constructed constructions, we can benefit from this. Wood also binds carbon dioxide and is beautiful and regrowth contributes to a sustainable society.

In our door area Oak Panel, we improve the wood's opportunities to expand and shrink without affecting the door's performance. It is still important to oil and maintain wooden surfaces outdoors. Oak Panel is available standing or horizontal, with narrow (approx. 10cm) or wide (approx. 15cm) panels.

We can also offer Oak Panel with seamed joints. Nåtad Ek Natur is a discreet joint where the color of the nåt is connected with the oak shade into a whole. Nåtad Oak Black gets a look reminiscent of a boat deck where the joints give sharp beautiful contrasts to the oak.

Oak Panel is also available for precious play. Netted oak black blends nicely into the dark surface of our heat-treated precious game. Most of Ekstrand's exterior door models are available in solid wood with Oak Panel.
